Dr. Fisher opened Fisher Family Chiropractic on May 1st, 2000. As a student at Chiropractic College, Dr. Cliff sought to master upper cervical techniques, some of the more difficult and more effective techniques used by very few chiropractors in practice. He founded and started different clubs and events to help support the teaching and learning of the Blair Work that he specializes in at Family First Chiropractic. Dr. Cliff promotes teaching patients the methods and philosophy of living a healthy way of life through Chiropractic care, helping children, parents and grandparents in the community begin the journey of living healthy, drug-free lives. He believes children should be raised to express their innate greatness and potential by sharing with parents the Chiropractic Principles of health and methods for raising healthy drug-free children. Dr. Cliff is contributing to the health and welfare of future generations by providing his patients with the best possible Chiropractic care and Education.
Dr. Rick Swecker
A doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Rick has been part of Family First Chiropractic since September of 2004. Northern Nevada has been his home for the majority of his life, growing up in Winnemucca before pursuing a college education at the University of Nevada and settling down in Reno.
Dr. Rick also spent three and a half years in the Bay area attending Life West Chiropractic School. He says his favorite part of living in Northern Nevada is the people and our proximity to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Throughout his life Dr. Rick has traveled to various places including Chile, Bali, El Salvador, and Spain but he has yet to find a place he enjoys more than the Lake Tahoe Basin.
Dr. Rick lives for his family which consists of his fiancé, Kerry, three boys Nic, Chase, and Skyler, their daughter Everti, and their dogs Stryder and Dallas. Dr. Rick has said, "Everything I do I do for them."
Chiropractic is definitely Dr. Rick's calling. He sees chiropractic as a wonderful field, offering wellness and pain management without the use of drugs or surgery. Through adjustments and education he has the opportunity to enhance an individual's quality of life and decrease pain by improving the body's structure, function, and chemistry. The Chiropractic philosophy is health and wellness achieved through an innate lifestyle. It is this belief that inspired Dr. Rick to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Krista Maselli
Originally from the east coast, Dr. Krista grew up twenty miles north of New York City. She was raised with her brother and sister, in a warm loving home. After earning her bachelor in Science from St. Thomas Aquinas College, Dr. Krista pursued a chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College. There she received her chiropractic doctorate and graduated magna cum laude on December 6, 2005.
After making the decision to relocate, Dr. Krista arrived in northern Nevada a year and a half ago. Since then she had been practicing chiropractic in a different location. However, her desire to expand her knowledge and better serve the community has directed her to the Fisher Family team.
Her love for the community and passion for connecting with people has also lead her to join Soroptimist International of Reno. This international organization has allowed Dr. Krista to carry out her desire to serve women and children who are in need, locally and globally. Through this venue, long lasting friendships and relationships have been made.
Dr. Krista views chiropractic as a way to impact the lives of others, as well as her own life. Through the chiropractic experience, all aspects of health are affected. She believes that it is the interaction with the patient, the adjustment, and improvement in one's quality of life where true healing takes place.
